All forms of entertainment have been present throughout my life: movies, music, comics, you name it. However, there is one that always stuck out to me: video games. The more I played, the more I learned, the more I started to wonder what was so special about these experiences. With time, the reason was clear: video games combine the best parts of the other formats and let YOU be a part of their world. It was at that point I knew I had to be a part of games, which is what lead me to developing my own personal art skills and getting my degree in computer science.
Growing up with the fifth and sixth console generations, the creativity and experimentation of Japanese developers of the time was a huge inspiration. This is at the core of everything I create, their ability to form vibrant, out-there worlds that remained grounded in reality continues to astound me to this day. As a kid you would find me creating or copying my own versions of the instruction manuals of my favourite games in an attempt to feel like part of the team. The majority of the characters, worlds and gameplay ideas I have grown from creations throughout my early years and grown alongside myself. Combining all of this, I have developed a unique view on the world of games and open the door for me to inject everything from my past, present and future into my work.
A group of talented developers creating small projects in our free time with their sights set high. After becoming a part of the team through a word-of-mouth recommendation, I have worked closely with them since.
I take a key role in art and design, as well as lending a hand to the programming efforts and other media needs.
I am personally involved with their projects Roald's Adventure and Hunter XL. The art seen on the website, as well as company logos, are some of my work.
